Founder: A.J. Dorizas
A.J. Dorizas is an aviation entrepreneur based in Auburn, Alabama with extensive experience in flight school management, operations consulting, and aircraft sales and leasing. He is building local aero club after watching too many talented pilots stall out waiting for access to quality aircraft and community, rather than lacking skill or motivation. He brings a hands-on approach to building the flight club he wished existed: minimal bureaucracy, modern equipment, transparent pricing, and a community that helps pilots advance their careers.
Marketing Director: Charlotte Dorizas
Charlotte Dorizas serves as Marketing Director for Local Aero Club and is AJ's wife and business partner. She graduated from Auburn University with a degree in business management and entrepreneurship, combining creative storytelling with strategic business thinking through her passion for videography and graphic design. Charlotte shapes how Local Aero Club connects with pilots through authentic visual content and community-focused marketing that reflects the tight-knit culture the club is building.
